CHEHALIS – The Lewis County Commission is now at full compliment with the swearing Wednesday of Commissioner Lee Grose, by Superior Court Judge James Lawler. Commissioner Grose was appointed to fulfill the remaining year of former Commissioner Gary Stamper following Stamper’s untimely passing in September. Grose shared he has a passion to serve, saying, “I always have had, there’s two sides to every story and I really try to balance that.” The commissioner says his focus is to compliment his colleagues, Commissioners Lindsey Pollock and Sean Swope, adding, “We have a homelessness issue, we’ve got development issues and law enforcement is huge.” The commissioner, who previously service two terms on the board from 2007-2014, then gave us a personal tour of his new office, saying he has an open door policy to anyone.
